Corolla tube cylindric or widely funnel-shaped; lobes oblong, spreading or reflexed. Stamens 5, inserted at the corolla throat, exserted. Style terminal, well-developed, 2-branched, each topped by a stigma. Fruit subspherical, fleshy; pyrenes 4; outer surface smooth to ridged.
