| Notes: | Shrub; Notes: Low-growing, woody, half-shrub, up to m high. Stems yellow-green, glabrous but basally ferruginously velutinous. Leaves alternate, simple; petiole stout, yellow-green, 3-5 mm long, obliquely striate; lamina oblong, ca. 6 x 2 cm, apex rounded, base cuneate, margin entire, discoloured, glabrous, venation prominent. Flowers in basal, axillary clusters, tubular, fragrant, androecium or gynoecium. Petals white, apically recurved. Sepals densely brown velutinous, subtended basally by 2-3 ovate bracts. |
