Description: |
Plants annual, small to medium-sized, up to 55 cm high; culms tufted, 5-52 cm long, 3-angled to rounded. Leaves up to 28 cm long; leaf blade linear to filiform. Involucral bracts leaf-like 1-4. inflorescence simple, sometimes almost capitate; primary branches 1-5; glumes 1.6-2.8 mm long, golden-yellow to golden-brown; nutlet 0.7-1.1 mm long, transversely wrinkled. |
