Description:
Bulbous perennial, up to 1 m. Up to 5 grey-green linear leaves start to develop at the time of flowering. Inflorescence compact, terminal on a long stem; flowers whitish or yellowish with a green center line on the tepals.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: tenuifolium: slender-leaved
Habitat: In various types of grassland.
