Small shrubby perennial herb, up to 60 cm tall, growing from a woody rootstock. Stems 4-angled,covered with appressed hairs, spreading hairs and scattered sessile glands. Leaves subsessile or very shortly petiolate, oblong to narrowly spathulate, 6-27 mm long, more or less densely covered with short appressed hairs above, densely so with longer spreading hairs and sessile glands; margin entire; petiole 1-2.5 mm long. Inflorescence of 4-18 clusters each with 2-4 flowers. Calyx funnel-shaped, 5-6 mm long, extending in fruit, 5-lobed; lobes equal, triangular, 1.5-2 mm long. Corolla 8-12 mm long, white with long appressed silky hairs outside. |
