Description: |
Tufted perennial grass, 30-90 cm high. Inflorescence up to c. 14 cm long, consisting of 3-14 racemes each up to 4 cm long. Spikelets sessile, 3.5-6 m mm long covered in dense tawny hairs longer than the spikelets. |
