Creeper; Notes: Substrate creeper. Leaves lobed with undulate margins, covered in bristle hair on both surfaces. Short tendrils at axils and short roots which holds branches to soil surface. Flowers light yellow, 5 petals and 5 sepals which is small and green and covered with dense bristle hair. Flowers in leaf axils. Fruit round to elliptic and horned. Found in well-drained sandy soil next to road.

1 m high; Shrub; Notes: Shrub, 1 m high. Stem light brown, young shoots velvety. Leaves alternate oblong with entire margins, rounded apex on base, velvety. No flowers present. Fruit a large berry with distinctive rectangle to square markings. Green to light orange when ripe. Grows in sandy loam soil in omuramba. Very common.

Tree; Notes: Tall tree, 7-10 m high. Bark light grey and smooth. Leaves opposite, bipinnately compound with 5 pairs at pinnae. Pinnae margin smooth, rachis velvety. Flowers in a raceme, light purple petals. Yellow stamens. Young shoots velvety.

Shrub; Notes: Small shrub, 1 m high. Stems velvety and green with very light zig-zag growth. Leaves alternate, hard and fine hair on undersides. Oval in shape, petiole hairy and 1 cm long. Stipules present. Leaf base rounded and slightly mucronate apices. Flowers in leaf axils, 1.5 cm long stalk. White petals. Long white stigma bending away from yellow tipped anthers. 10 anthers. Pistil and stamens carried outside flowers. Flowers sweet smelling.

Creeper; Notes: Creeper-like plant. Stems covered in hard hair. Leaves ovate and opposite with slightly serrate margins. Tiny pink flowers with 5 petals, 6 stamens and pink pistil, flowers sessile in leaf axils. Common, grows in omuramba in clay soil.

Climber; Notes: Climber. Flowers grow on long shoots with 2 cm long stalks. White flowers, 6 petals, 1 pair of tendrils, a flower stalk just beneath flowers. Leaves imparipinnate with 2 pairs of leaflets and a single leaflet at apex, margins of leaflets serrate. Stem green to reddish, whole plant covered in fine short hairs. Not common.

Notes: Stem velvety and dark brown. Leaves opposite, obovate and velvety. Stipules present, petiole 1 cm long. Veins prominent beneath leaves. Fruit light green, 4 winged capsules, velvety.

10 cm high; Shrub; Notes: Small shrub, 10 cm high. Stem herbaceous and green. Short soft hair on stem and leaves. Leaves sessile with sheath and lanceolate. Yellow flowers. Scattered in soft sandy white soil.

Flowers in a whorl in leaf axils, sessile, 5 linear petals fused into a tube and yellow centre. Rare. Grows in omuramba in white sandy soil.

Shrub; Notes: Small shrub, 1 m high. Stems light brown, covered in lenticels. Young shoots densely haired. Leaves alternate, simple and ovatem, margins serrate, fine hair on undersurface. Bicoloured with 3 veins from base. Veins prominent on both sides of leaves. No flowers. Round fruits, green and covered in bristle hair, carried on long hairy stalks. Extended falsistipula to which fruit is attached. Common in sandy soil in shade.

Shrub; Notes: Shrub 2 m high. Yellow flowers with 5 long petals that are separated and curling backwards, sepals short and close to base of flowers. Leaves alternate ovate with serrate margins. Stipule ear-shaped and clearly visible. Leaves bicoloured and rough to touch. Fruits round capsules. Light grey stem, velvety to touch on young shoots. Fruits in pair of 3. Along road on slight plain. Not very common.

Herbaceous shrub, 0.40-0.30 m high. Flowers carried in spike-like inflorescence. 5 white petals with yellow mouth, tubular. Flowers carried on one side of spike. Fruits, small, four lobed capsules. Leaves obovate, covered in long hair on both sides of leaf, alternate. Stem green and covered in bristle hairs.

3 m high; Tree; Notes: Tree, 3 m high. Light grey stem to light brown on young shoots. Leaves elliptic, light green-grey, in clusters, sessile. Midveins prominent below. No flowers. Fruits light red, capsules oval and have a wing. Grows in white sandy soil. Scattered.

Shrub. Leaves ovate with entire margins. Winged petiole, tapering tip and truncate base. Leaves carried opposite young growth tips, curls around other plants for support. Flowers bright yellow, trumpet shaped, 5 petals fused. Pistil and stamens well set inside flower tube.
